Terance Mann and the LA Clippers have agreed to a reported three-year, $47 million extension. Mann, who has spent his entire career with the team, officially signed the deal on Oct. 2 as the Clippers opened training camp earlier that week.

Mann’s deal, reported by multiple outlets, keeps him with the Clippers through the 2027-28 season. The 48th pick of the 2019 Draft, Mann averaged 8.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists last season while shooting 51.5% overall and 34.8% on 3-pointers.

He is the third returning player to ink an offseason deal with the team, joining veteran guard James Harden (who signed a two-year deal) and center Ivica Zubac (who signed a three-year extension). The Clippers also added guards Kris Dunn, Derrick Jones Jr. and Kevin Porter Jr. to the mix for 2024-25.
Despite those offseason additions, Mann figures to have a bigger role in L.A. this season. That became particularly true after All-Star swingman Paul George left via free agency for the Philadelphia 76ers and former Kia MVP Russell Westbrook headed to the Denver Nuggets.
Mann’s best season came in 2021-22, when he posted 10.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 2.6 apg while shooting 48.4% overall and 36.5% on 3-pointers. He was a key player in the 2021 playoffs as the Clippers reached the Western Conference Finals with Mann averaging 10.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 2.2 apg that postseason.
